Just 5 minutes ago, I tried to update my system and I got the errors as in the screenshot below:

I tried '“sudo pacman -Rdd mesa-vdpau” but the system says it is not found.

How do I fix this now ?

Please help.

I can’t offer any help, but I can say “me too” to this error message

I know there’s a big change in the latest vulkan with frame timing and figured here maybe it’s using different packages. In either case I tried and it failed also.

I also found out ‘yay’ is encountering with this issue.

By doing “yay -Syu”, I get about 20 packages updates, but all fail at the same package conflicts.

Bump, same issue, same packages.

Bumping. Having the same problem as well.

Please, never post pictures from terminal.
Images can be read worse, are not searchable and copyable for further search.

yay leads to paru on Garuda Linux. Post terminal output as formatted. text

Just wait one day for the solution, I think the packages must rebuild.

Yop the garuda-hardware-profile just needs the proper adoption for the Major MESA release

So far my laptop is having this issue. I have yet to see about my desktop having the same. But I will wait.

No more VDPAU @TNE, but not sure if it should be replaced with vulkan-mesa-implicit-layers or just dropped from depends.
