Touchpad gestures for viewing desktop windows

Hello there!
A feature I use a lot is viewing and switching to other windows. I regularly use multiple windows.
I used to be able to do a three-finger swipe up to view all windows in that particular desktop.
But somehow, three-finger swipe doesn’t work for anything now.
However, four-finger swipe up now does this, and swipe down shows virtual desktops.
I have tried searching through system settings, touchpad settings, and shortcuts, and even window behavior.
I can’t seem to find where to change this.

The tool / setting view you are looking for is Libinput Gestures:

Also from this topic => Show Desktop Grid not working in KDE Plasma 6 [SOLVED] / Applications & Desktop Environments / Arch Linux Forums

it is now called Toggle Grid View which seems missing in Libinput
Is by default bound to meta+g and it seems I can’t bind the meta key in Libinput Gestures as a workaround

Okay if I disable the meta+g keybind in the settings, then I can bind meta+g in Libinput (which is named super+g in libinput) but when I then re-enable the meta+g in the setting and do a 3-finger swip up it does nothing.

ehhhhhhh I will just use meta+g for now with no gesture

I figured it out.

The command would be:

qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component.invokeShortcut "Grid View"

Which, guess what, “Grid View” in Libinput Gestures.

Even if you but 3-Finger up as command with :

qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component.invokeShortcut "Grid View"

It will transfrom the command to a Plasma Action named Grid View.

Just logout and login again and it works. :+1:

Thank you so much!
I had to install the qt5-tools package. Once I did, the commands worked. I can do the three-finger swipe now. This is a permanent fix, right?
