Sorry about it.

I think this issue is recurring for your dGPU. Try

sudo pacman -S nvidia-dkms nvidia-settings

If working, I think you’d better use x11 at login instead of Wayland.

Thanks for the help, but I already knew how to install drivers, I was just wondering if there is a menu in Garuda’s settings where you can set the type of drivers (apart from the installation screen). Other than that, did you recommend X11 for entry level users? I’ve been using Wayland for years without any major problems and maybe it’s psychological but it feels more responsive to me :). I just switched to Garuda (from Manjaro and Fedora) and I think it’s even more user friendly than Manjaro, so I’m trying all the simplified setting interfaces Garuda offers. Thank you.

Ok sure.
Normally you can autoinstall proprietary drivers with the relevant button in Garuda settings manager → HW configuration but I seem to recall that for some 4060 and 4070 that button was not shown for some reasons.
I believe this could be an issue in the mhwd acting behind the scene, but i’m not a developer and couldn’t investigate further.
