If you look closely, the FPS is about the same, but the screen smoothness of Garuda is very smooth, while the screen of other Cachyos win11 will be jerky.

It doesn’t just look like it, it’s a very good distribution.
Besides, anything is better than M$ or that bitten fruit.
Because FOSS is always better than closed source monopolies.
Enjoy Garuda Linux and have a good time.
thank you very much.
There’s something Garuda is doing that I’d like to know how it’s doing: because every Linux distro I was capable of handling couldn’t do it and got nowhere near doing it other than CachyOS. First time I’ve seen a comparison of the top 3 on youtube.
I’m also fairly amazed that Garuda’s desktop (this is Xfce because my pc is literally dated from 2012) is as fast as Manjaro Xfce (which is even faster than Linux Mint Xfce).
When I first installed Garuda from its 24.04 distro and I had it upgrade, it felt like the most bloated godzilla installation I’ve ever seen: but the end result was like a 1GB Windows 10 scripted installation.
Blown away doesn’t quite get it across what I was expecting to happen.
