Terminal doesn't look right (prompt gone and missing info)

Hey guys, my brothers terminal looks wrong and barely a prompt, wasn’t sure if it’s a config thing that could be deleted or if it’s something I can copy out of my own machine for him, he’s not a tinkerer so not sure how it got killed, he said he wasn’t playing with anything prior, which I believe as he’s REALLY not a tinkerer.

This is what it’s opening up like

This is his inxi

That’s what my terminal prompt looks like too.

What you are looking at is the default Starship config. That’s what it looks like if you don’t set up a custom starship.toml. If you need to grab another copy of the Garuda starship.toml, it’s right here: garuda-starship-prompt/starship.toml · main · Garuda Linux 🦅 / PKGBUILDs · GitLab

Something like this ought to do the trick:

curl https://gitlab.com/garuda-linux/pkgbuilds/-/raw/main/garuda-starship-prompt/starship.toml > ~/.config/starship.toml

Very much appreciated!

That looks like something off of lost…make sure you enter the code to reset the timer so this doesn’t happen:
