What do you mean? It seems to just run on my terminal.. I havent checked how and what it does exactly.

it was a joke reference to the 'Back to the Future' movies =-)
i'm pretty sure that 'McFly' is the Garuda system service that provides the terminal input history when you press the 'up arrow' key.

Yeah, I get it. I was referring to what it does in the background.
Terminal keeps your history anyway.. so.. Obviously it is local, and I think mcfly is local too. Otherwise it would need some ssh connection to a server or something.
