Taskbar (default bottom panel) bottom has a transparent background on fresh install of Dr460nized

Hey all,

I just did a fresh install of Garuda on a laptop. Problem is, the taskbar’s (bottom panel) background is completely transparent. It does not have any sort of background whatsover. I tried switching around the panel’s opacity settings but nothing helps.

This is how it looks right now:

For reference this is how it looks on my daily driver (how it should look like):

I am also having scaling issues but thats for another topic. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately it did not.

I updated my garuda inxia output after a reboot.

Please do not edit your garuda-inxi, if something changes then post a new one. Thanks.

The Dock is transparent since our latest ISO.
Maybe you did not update your daily driver using Panel Colorizer, which the new ISO uses by default.

You can super highly customize your panels with Panel Colorizer.
Right-click the top panel and click on Configure Panel Colorizer.

That’s right, I had forgotten that I had disabled the Panel Colorizer so I edited my previous post.

This has no effect on the bottom panel. :slightly_smiling_face:

@Heracraft: just disable the Panel Colorizer in the bottom dock (or remove the widget from the bottom dock).

Or simply enjoy the purposefully provided transparency, it’s not a bug.

When going into the Panel Colorizer configuration you can edit the Dock settings, it’s a preset.

Wait… how did I set it again… lemme double check

Yep, but enabling opacity (adaptive) under “Stock Panel Settings” has no effect?

Edit: after removing and re-adding the widget it works. I think I need a vacation.

I saw it getting upgraded to 3.0 on GitHub, maybe some breaking config change? (Didn’t look into specifics)
