System won't shut off in os

Tried to reformat a 16gb USB to normal again screwed up the mount location and my PC having issues with shutting off among other things

Unfortunately, I can’t help you solve your problem.

If normal shutdown is not possible, switch to a rescue shell (TTY), log in and enter the command: poweroff or reboot .

What specifically was the mistake?

What issues did the mistake cause?

What is preventing you from correcting the mistake?

“Having issues” is not specific enough to be meaningful. Is it taking a long time, showing error messages, rebooting instead of shutting down, failing to shut down altogether…?

Oh hang on, let me check:

:crystal_ball:

In general your grievance is way too vague for anyone to be able to tell what is happening. If you want help, you need to add way more information to the thread.
