System stuck after shutdown

Hey can you remove packagekit from your system and test if it affects anything? This won’t be the first time I have seen this package causing issues for it’s users.

PackageKit is using a huge amount of memory

My computer repeatedly was slowing down, stuttering and I did not understand why. Then I used htop to see that this program called packagekit is using all of my cpu and ram available to the point where it is crashing. [PXL_20240131_134317557] I removed packagekit and this fixed all issues for me.
