Hi all. The issue is that after each successful update, I am not able to reach the logging screen after reboot: the system will get stuck on either a black screen, the last log message from before shut down or a random-pixel screen. I’m on Garuda Mokka.
I’ve been trying to update for the past three weeks, and is only until now that I come for aid; work has not allowed me to look into this until now, so everytime I would just go back to the last working snapshot (from which I’m writing now).
After the last update today, the system was working fine; I worked a bit just to observe if any weird behavior was noticeable (it was not). I rebooted to get stuck again before the login screen (with a black screen displayin the reboot log message).
Things I’ve tried:
- Computer doesn’t boot, boots to a black screen, or stops at a message
- Made sure that Secure Boot and Fast Boot are disabled in BIOS settings (did a recent firmware update).
- Booted using LTS kernel (with fallback initramfs)
