System consumes so much battery!

After a fresh install of the system, I noticed it consumes so much battery compared to windows 11 which i was using prior to this system. I was using the machine mainly for basic tasks like web browsing and noticed that the drain is so high and the battery barely lasts 2 hours of usage while in windows this usage scenario will take over 4 hours for the battery to run out. I tried to put the performance profile on battery saver but this did not help out a lot. here is the output of garuda-inxi:

Do not use performance settings on battery, so use energy save settings.
You are the admin, try the settings by yourself, please.

Note: this video suggests undervolting by 100mv. I found this too much and it caused errors. An 80mv undervolt worked for me.

I tried to activate it in the garuda settings. Still, all I can manage to get from battery is around 2 hours while I get around 5-6 hours from other arch based distros with KDE as well. I tried using other kernels but still no significant change. This really disappoint me and can be the reason I stop using the OS although I really like the look and the fell.

Undervolting has to be done as specified in the video.

I’ve had a look at your CPU specs and I see it is 45W TDP.

The Intel CPU in my XFCE laptop is 15W TDP. It is undervolted as stated above and uses a lightweight version of Garuda, but I have not been able to get close to 6 hours use on a single battery charge.

You mention that you have got 5 - 6 hours on other arch based distros with KDE. What versions of Linux did you previously use?
