I forgot about that lol. Currently updating my other laptop which also has total vanilla dr460nized installed.
@D_D Is kwin-lowlatency installed on your system? If yes try replacing it with kwin please.

Experiencing the same issue on dr460nized kde.
Just did a sudo pacman -Syu and after reboot it's stuck/froze at the splash screen
Okay seems like this is the fix. Please confirm guys.
sudo pacman -Syu kwin

Make kwin-lowlatency a dummy package which depends on kwin
This will solve issues for all

It could also be a caching issue. Sometimes full cache flush is needed. Theming is frequently involved in such issues.
But, whatever works!...
