Since what seems like the Syncthing 2.0 update, Syncthing-GTK always gives an error that it can’t invoke the daemon.
I made a post a few months back about getting the same error. The fix given worked then, but did not work this time. The syncthing.lock file was missing, but recreating it didn’t change anything.
I found an issue in the Syncthing-gtk GitHub saying that the project looks abandoned and probably wouldn’t work after the 2.0 update. Looks like that was the case.
Does anyone know of a way to get this working? Is there a GUI alternative other than the webUI? I’ve used the webUI before, but didn’t like it nearly as much as Syncthing-GTK. I guess I could downgrade the Syncthing package, but I don’t love that idea either.
