Switching to external monitor causes extreme lag

Thank you for answering on this I was about to loose hope :slight_smile:
I did numerous tests and re-installs, and finally I settled at XFCE garuda DE and the problem persisted, I found on the forums this topic about Nvidia Frogging family drivers: Nvidia-all - Frogging-Family drivers (guide - installation)
And I tried to install them using the latest version and my problem was fixed.
The really odd scenario is that I also tried to install them on the KDE Lite version of garuda, and the problem was still there…
I switched to the ZEN kernel when I went on the XFCE de, not sure if the KDE Lite is installed by default with the lts kernel and zen kernel.
