Switching off abruptly

I’ve been GL user for quite a bit of time and never had any big issues. Absolutely loving it! Lately I’ve updated my machine using garuda-update which I usually run at least once every day.

Ever since yesterday my machine started behaving arcane. It switches off abruptly (not shutdown). It does that all of sudden while I’m reading something on the web, PDFs, or even programming. I’m not 100% sure if it’s a hardware, software, or firmware issue. But I suspect it has something to do with the last couple of updates. As I never faced that issue prior. Thanks in advance.

Restore last working snapshot before this update.
Test if the error was fixed, so it is not hardware related.
Check the update files in garuda-update, but do not update.
Post the upd log.
Keep in mind to try out the X11 WM.

Unfortunately I can’t exactly tell if it resolved or not immediately cause it switches off when it decides to switch off. I’ll keep you updated when it does.

Looks like it had been resolved after a couple of updates.
