No matter what I try I'm unable to get this behavior working. In KDE I try setting it via System Settings > Advanced > Configure keyboard options > Alt and Win behavior > Left Alt is swapped with Left Win > Apply.
I logout/reboot and it's still as it was before I made the change instead of the expected behavior where Alt = Win and Win = Alt
Anyone else run into this before and/or find a workaround?
It's probably just another new feature of KDE and not a bug

Thanks for the quick reply! This is installed on SSD, turns out it's actually just my keyboard after following these instructions and disabling the aforementioned LALT/LWIN swap rule it works as expected:
