Stucked In Another Distro and Cannot Install Garuda Back

Hello everyone, I was using Garuda until a few month earlier and had an issue with docker, i even asked for help for the specific issue in Garuda and Docker forums but couldnot find an answer. Then I thought it could be because of me that I installed Garuda KDE Dr460nized, then I switched to Pop_OS. This process also wasnot easy as well, I had to use grub menu in order to load efi file since grub couldnot see my bootable device. In short I have the same issues and even more maybe in Pop_OS.

I wanna install KDE Dr460nized again since I love it, -it wasnot an easy decision to change my distro from Dr460nized to another, but the problem is whatever I do and try I cannot show my computer to boot from my USB drive.

My specs:
Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8
i5 13420H 16GB 512GB SSD RTX4050

First problem I see; I am not able to control my bios settings -both with Garuda and other distro- such as secure boot, boot order etc.

Lenovo don’t list compatible drivers for Linux for this computer like Thinkpads, but I dont think this might be an issue(?)

I tried to make a bootable device with Ventoy, B Etcher, Disks Utility etc, none of them showed up in the boot menu. The distro am using know is using sytemd-boot bootloader. I thought I can use the same method I used before if i use grub as my boot loader:

This didnot work as well. I can use grub terminal, list the devices etc, but I whenever I try to chainload Garuda efi file it gives error as “/EndEntire”, as I searched its a secure boot error, which I am unable to change from bios.

My bios shows enabled in the list but just below it says secure boot status is disabled.

Any help is appreciated. I wanna go back to Garuda since its much more useful for me. Just an example; I have an Asus portable monitor that Im using actively and need to change its brightness whenever I work in different places. I need to adjust the brightness on monitor’s buttons, but with using Garuda I was able to control the brightness where I can control my laptop’s brightness. Garuda has many more capabilities that I need and cannot find in the distro Im using now.

Press F2 on boot for BIOS settingss, in grub there is also a point went to BIOS after Garuda install.

Let us know which version you want to install and where you downloaded it from. By the way, not much longer and there will be a new version of Garuda KDE.

Ventoy works fine 1.1.04 here. Just update to

sudo ventoy -u /dev/sda

Upgrade operation is safe, all the data in the 1st partition (iso files and other) will be unchanged!

Update Ventoy  1.1.04 ===> 1.1.05   Continue? (y/n) y

Update Ventoy on /dev/sda successfully finished.

There were problems with Ventoy for a while, but no longer at present.
