Stuck on Kernel driver in use nouveau

Hello. I recently installed Garuda Linux on my PC as the main operating system, I already had it in dual boot with Windows and it worked well, however I removed Windows and reinstalled Garuda Linux. The installation went well and everything seemed correct, the problem is that after the first reboot I can no longer start and I am stuck on a black screen that says: Kernel driver in use: nouveau. I haven’t installed any NVIDIA drivers and I don’t plan to, I have a 1650. I started for the first time without proprietary drivers. I managed to get the garuda-inxi from another tty.

Garuda (2.7.2-1):
  System install date: 2025-06-26
  Last full system update: 2025-06-26
  Is partially upgraded: No
  Relevant software: snapper NetworkManager dracut
  Windows dual boot: No/Undetected
  Failed units: greetd.service

Pls bios update, think then on the right settings (f-boot,s-boot,uefi,etc)

This is a turing gpu, if install nvidia-open-dkms driver.
sudo pacman -S nvidia-open-dkms egl-wayland lib32-nvidia-utils lib32-opencl-nvidia nvidia-settings opencl-nvidia nvidia-utils then reboot.

Well, you should have the newest firmware but you can make a reinstall.
sudo pacman -S linux-firmware-nvidia

You use sway + iso is from 25.03.08 or 25.06.26 ?
I see no DE in your inxi

Why did it fail? Post the output to the thread:

journalctl -b -u greetd.service

If you need to run it from a TTY you can pipe it to termbin and post the URL here.

journalctl -b -u greetd.service | nc termbin.com 9999
