What exactly did you follow the Computer doesn’t boot, boots to a black screen, or stops at a message
I didn't try to chroot, since I dont have the installation media with me. I tried updating with "garuda-update", it updated 2 packages. I rebooted and still had the problem. How do I switch to the free drivers?
and wait, maybe they fix the problems upstream.

Wait a few days and when you start the update, copy and post the log where the programs are listed that receive an update.
