I already reinstalled steam-runtime, steam-native, proton, protonfix, proton-ge, gamemode via Garuda Gamer.

When i just throw some free windows game into lutris, it works like a charm. League of Legends, works. FF14 - works. So i can game....But when i start a game via Steam, it says i'm playing for like 10 seconds, and that's it.

I tried installing several different Proton-GE Versions via ProtonUp-QT. Also tried using different Proton Versions from Valve. Interestingly enough, when i open ProtonUp-QT it doesn't show me any other proton versions anymore...only EAC, BattleEye and the GE Versions i installed from there...in the past i could see all the different "regular" proton versions that are available.

I tried reinstalling games, testing completely new games that run perfectly fine according to protondb. I also tried steam-runtime --reset. I tried deleting the compatdata folder for some games because i got the error that the prefix version is invalid and i should delete that prefix. I'll post some bigger logs down there.

Oh also, running native linux games in steam works perfectly fine....

I've struggled similarly. Commenting mostly to say i'm watching.

Have you noticed when you adjust the compatibility tool under steam play settings, for "Enable Steam Play for all other titles", that it doesn't stick when you select it? Mine reverts every time i restart steam.

Hasn't been the first time I heard about this kind of bug recently. I guess the only thing left to do is report it to Valve (and also check for other reports on their forums maybe) and hope it gets fixed since you even tried the reset command and other versions.

Did you ever use Steamtinkerlaunch? Did you clear your launch options?

I use it in a couple of games, but i tested it with and without STL.

Also downloaded a games i never played on this PC that has platinum rating on protondb

No, i don't have this problem.

Can you try opting out from Steam beta?

Same result. I even went as far and deleted every single steam folder on my system and reinstalled it from scratch...In that process the beta was opted out automatically.

After reenabling it after reinstall it didn't work either...

I'm thinking about reinstalling NVIDIA drivers as there are many posts that suggest there are issues with that...But i don't know how i can safely reinstall them without screwing my system up

Alright...found the issue.

This is just plain ridiculous. I use Portmaster; It's a firewall manager. It's awesome as it shows you literally every single connection in and out from every single app / website etc.

You can block and allow everything down to the finest details....And SOMEHOW...it blocked connections from 127.0.0.1 on a specific port that Steam uses...Allowed that port and et voila it works like a charm again.

This is absurd...but i hope this helps someone...
