Steam is the only window that, when minimized, gets restored(whether I click on it in the taskbar or alt+tab) in a non-maximized state.
Is there some sort of behaviour I can edit for this? This is my first time using KDE for longer than a day.

I do not need a solution to this, as I am using Steam in a non-maximized state.
But, I did try it and you are right - if I maximize the Steam window, minimized it, then click on it or bring it to front via alt+tab, it restores to a standard size window.
