Spotify / Podcasts / Flatpak

Hi all out there in Garudaland.
I'm really enjoying this amazing distro and am using the KDE Plasma version.
I use Spotify a lot and downloaded it from the repository, there is one major problem though, it won't play BBC podcasts even though I'm in the UK.
I've come across this problem before so I thought ah well, no problem, I'll install the Flatpak version because I know this definitely plays the BBC podcasts. This brought me to another problem. Even though I can run it from the command line it doesn't show in my application menu and cannot be pinned to my launcher.
Please can anyone help?

If the program starts from the terminal you should be able to create a .desktop file to launch the program from your desktop. Once the launcher works from your desktop you should be able to move it to your dock etc.

how to create a .desktop file Linux
