Spotify no titlebar

Since the update to Plasma 6, some non-Qt apps aren’t displaying correctly anymore, for instance missing a title bar with window control buttons when maximized.
I applied this fix from TLE, and the title bar is there when windows are unmaximized, but gone when maximized. This is the case for Libreoffice, Logseq, Spotify - the top of its window now looks like this:

unmaximized like this:

Lots of people must be wrestling with this since Plasma 6, no? #plasma6destroyedmylife
Has anyone found solutions yet?

Do you have this set?

Thanks, that did the trick!
It was set to true. Why was this the default setting though?

in $HOME/.config/kwinrc

[Windows]
BorderlessMaximizedWindows=false

My understanding is the default Dr460nized theme has other accommodations for this behavior. If you change the theme then this particular setting no longer makes a lot of sense.
