I have just set-up a laptop with garuda for the first time, before only with PC, and 100% this is a bug for laptops.
If you power on with the ethernet connected it works , but if you then disconnect and move , sometimes you will not see any wifi OR Bluetooth connections - to fix I have to power down , re-connect the ethernet and reboot - and hey presto wifi and bluetooth return.
Seems like the eth0 and wifi are fighting over address space or something?
