All of a sudden, Aqualung has no audible output, just silence while it plays. I installed Mixxx and it's silent, too. VLC does play music audibly.

What's going on?

Does anybody know what is happening?

try downgrading all pipewire packages to 1:0.3.77. Zrythm might have the same issue. There doesn't appear to be a fix for it right now. If all goes well the next pipewire release will fix all of these issues.

It worked! Thank you so. I depend on Aqualung to do a radio show, and having it work is a real solid you did for me.

Of course, now pamac wants to upgrade the packages. I didn't set the flags on the packages.

apparently pipewire .79 is in testing right now. It fixed all issues for me. Interestingly, .79 is available via downgrade, so I guess you can downgrade them to the newest version (the irony)

Also, don't use pamac for upgrades, use the terminal. Pamac can break your system by confirming something you hadn't accounted for

I use pamac to notify me if there are upgrades, and upgrade in the terminal.

Installed the .79, using downgrade (yes, it's ironic) and they work just fine. Thank you so much for your help.
