Nothing shows up on the explore tab; installed shows everything, update says it’s always updated. Also, I tried installing the EVE Online client using Lutris, but it failed to download a version of GE Proton - the Log app didn’t show anything related to the failure. I also don’t know how to use the Terminal beyond typing y/n when it wants to update something.
Anyone know why the Software program would be so broken?

Post also the output, from terminal, from installing the “EVE Online client using Lutris”.
I successfully installed it using Steam. There was nothing in the Logs related to the installation failure.

Normal is, type y and Enter.
Did you check the home page, github or gitlab page from this EVE thing?
Paid software?
Sorry, I do not know this software
It’s a video game. I tried installing it through Lutris, but it wasn’t able to either successfully download one of the GE Proton updates, or install it, I’m not sure which one. I was able to successfully download, install, and play it through Steam.
My main issue is the Software app not working like it’s supposed to. I’m not able to upload pictures at the moment, but I tried searching for Discord, Steam, and Lutris, but it gave me “no app found.”
I took a screenshot of launching Discord with the Terminal, that was successful. I then tried typing “software” to launch the app through the Terminal, but it gave me:
find-the-command: “software” is not found locally, searching in repositories…
find-the-command: command not found: “software”

The app you’re using is called gnome-software
not software
(but it should work in Cinnamon, strange).
I would suggest you get familiar with pacman (from terminal) to install the packages you need (those from Garuda, Arch and Chaotic-AUR repositories).
It is simpler than you might think, see the example below and this Wiki article.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman
To search for packages, maybe you can try pacseek
(again from terminal, but easy to use). You can install it with:
sudo pacman -S pacseek
To update your system:
garuda-update
If you use packages from the AUR, update with:
garuda-update -a
To install (actually compile/build) packages from the AUR:
paru packagename
Many packages however have already been precompiled in the chaotic-aur repository, so you simply install them with pacman.
