Sleep Issue

Is there a particular reason you are booting in legacy mode? The initial few suggestions I can provide are

  1. Visit this post and see if it helps → Waking up from suspend - #3 by BluishHumility If it doesn’t, undo the changes you made to grub and run sudo update-grub again.
  2. Try updating your UEFI to the latest version available by the vendor for you.
  3. Try booting in normal mode if you don’t need legacy for some specific reason. :person_shrugging:
  4. Try the LTS kernel,
sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers

Then from grub while booting select advanced options using arrow keys and Enter and in there choose linux-lts.

If none of this helps can you provide us the logs from before you had to hard reboot? Preferably from the start of system entering sleep state to the moment you had to hard reboot. You can paste the logs in garuda’s privatebin or any paste bin of your choice and provide us the link since the logs can be quite lengthy.
