Signal Beta Icon Not Displaying in Dock (Pinned)

So I installed the package signal-desktop-beta from the Chaotic-aur repo today, for Signal version 7.0.0-beta.1
It works fine except for the pinned icon in my taskbar. I’m posting this as it seems to be a problem with KDE pulling the .desktop file icon in while Signal is closed or in the systray. When Signal is actively on the screen, the icon shows correctly, as it does also in the application menu. It is just when I pin it to the taskbar, and close the window is when I get the unknown icon icon.

I tested this on both Wayland (current) and X11 environments, and the same problem persists. I tried install the AUR version signal-desktop-beta-bin using both yay and paru to see if that would fix it (I had to edit the PKGBUILD to install the correct version since that package is flagged out of date, but it did end up installing the correct version), and it did not, the problem persisted. I tried to symlink both the AUR package and Chaotic-aur package versions (only one was installed at a time), and still did not have success. I’m not sure if KDE isn’t pulling the icon as it should be, and as I would expect it to, or if there is a bug in the task manager that I need to report upstream. Hopefully you all can think of something I perhaps missed…

Note:

I just saw that the application dashboard is pulling the Beautyline version of the icon, whereas the active window icon is the standard Signal icon. Does anyone know why the icons wouldn’t be consistent across the OS?
