Should I choose Garuda Mokka or Garuda Dragonized for gaming, recording, streaming and daily use, while also keeping Windows?

I am mainly using Windows right now, and I wonder which version of Garuda should I use, if I’m going to game, stream, record on it, and also use it for daily usage. I also need to keep Windows installed for now, because there are some apps that I can only use on Windows. So, which version of Garuda is recommended for such case?

By the way I have searched for other distros too, and found Garuda as the best one among them. And I am returning to Garuda after 5 years, I was one of the first users of Garuda, good times

Neither one is better(or worse) for that use case, they are both Garuda.

Pick the one that you like the best.

Thanks for the reply, but I got one more question, is there any difference in fps that I can get between those versions? Or as you’ve said, they’re both Garuda?

Not really…as @dalto said, neither is better or worse for any use case.

Understood, thanks :folded_hands: I’ll install it soon then. But I got a question about the installation now. I have to keep windows there (at least for now), and I don’t want to dual boot cuz I’ve heard about them changing the settings. Will there be any issues if I install Garuda on a separate partition?

If you’re installing it on the same machine, you are still technically dual booting, however you can minimize the technical issues by A) using a separate drive B) making your own EFI (do NOT share the one with Windows which is likely too be too small anyway)
