Is there a way to set a different lock screen image and not use the logged in user’s desktop image? If not, can we add this as a feature please?
It might be under “Screensaver” in System Settings.
Keep in mind that the Garuda edition maintainers are not directly involved in desktop environment development, so feature requests for Cinnamon should be directed toward the Linux Mint team.

As far as I know, the background of the lock screen cannot be changed in Cinnamon. A possible workaround would be to install and use a different lock screen. Take a look at the Linux Mint forum, where there are several topics on this subject.
As @zoeruda already mentioned, Garuda Linux is not responsible for this; your contact persons are the developers of Cinnamon/Linux Mint.
