Win10-ish style on GNOME, but with my own flair. Wallpaper idea hit me after typing “sudo pacman” into a terminal like 50 times
I have been messing around with @nwg’s Greetd greeter, nwg-hello. It looks pretty slick! It’s got some great features like setting environment variables right in the config like ReGreet, but is more customizable and showcases the wallpaper a little better. What do you guys think?

Edit: Oops, I’m not sure why I linked to a random issue on the nwg-hello GitHub page instead of the main page. Fixed!
Literally, just so good
Don’t worry, I have uploaded the links of all the screenshots. Enlightenment DE has this feature:
I just liked all these wallpapers…
How do you like E?
I’ve always thought it was a very powerful but very overlooked DE.
Well Enlightenment uses EFL instead of QT or GTK, that felt new…
I couldn’t get tap to touch enabled on it and my mouse wasn’t working either, so I couldn’t do much.
Some of its apps like the terminal and the screenshot tool, even the settings app look nice.
The file manager didn’t look that great. Again I couldn’t use much and check out the features due to the touchpad issue.
It was different but good. I couldn’t check how customisable it is, though did find some options…
The default desktop look is quite bore imo.
We all started somewhere, these are the oldest screenshots I have of my first PC… I know i Know it’s not a Garuda screenshot, but i thought someone may enjoy it.
Maybe once KDE 6 settles down I’ll post a proper screenshot
Hmm… I have first time seen windows XP’s screenshot , LOL
My starting was from windows 10
Well It’s Windows 95…
Continuing the discussion from Screenshots | Garuda Linux preferred :
It’s actually Windows 98 SE
No such thing. Assuming you mean 98 SE. (Us old fellas gotta help each other out sometimes.)
I tried Deepin after almost a year.
It looks awesome, but noticeably too buggy, which makes it feel cheap. They can do really great if they iron out the bugs and get the first impressions right.
Yeah that’s what i meant lol thanks haha
That title bar makes me not want to use it already
UI is great for touch screens tho
