Since deepin DE is currently behaving itself 
, here's a screenshot of deepin DE on my old Archdeepin + XFCE install. I'm only interested in the deepin desktop (in the same way I'm interested in most DEs) and not its accessories, since I prefer to use the usual applications I am familiar with in all my distros.
When deepin DE is having its usual compositing problems after an update, I log into XFCE. But I just use Thunar and xfce4-terminal whether I'm in DDE or XFCE.

Yes it does it also get updated regularly it a handy app as it changes the icin from red to green when active

I also use it occasionally. It's really nice to be able to toggle it on and off. It's like i3 on demand.

Since this is -git tho, bugs are to be expected but I dont mind those.

I’ve heard (via archlinux@Freenode) that most of that is taken from the AUR… might be able to cut out the middle-man there… 
Well that was my first attempt however these PKGBUILDs produced outdated packages in some cases. Manjaros however have the advantage of giving proper version information which is why I used them after some builds.
