I use my laptop’s display and I have a monitor connected via usb-c to display port to my Acer monitor, using it as extended monitor. When setting Acer to max 165Hz or 144Hz refresh rate, I see serious flickering on the bottom of the screen ONLY when switching workspaces. I have not experienced this issue at 120Hz. The funny thing is that I did not have that issue before I updated to 555.58 driver with explicit sync. Any suggestions?

Use 120 Hz and wait, maybe Nvidia fix it. Did you try X11?
