Screen brightness does'nt works at DELL G15 5515

Hi guys, i am facing problems with the screen brightness there is no way to modify it. t the brightnessctl updates the configuration files /sys/class/backlight/nvidia_wmi_ec_backlight or /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl0 using the --device option, but neither of those change the brightness of the screen.
I install the system with propertary nvidia drivers option.

Looks like this open kernel bug
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216138
Although they say that without hybrid mode nvidia-settings should work, but according to the Wiki this seems to be acting only on colors, not backlight

i can change the colors using xrandr, which kernel should i use to fix it? i'm not into that world yet. i use popOS and i have the same problem, usign ubuntu 20.04 or debian work just fine.

The kernel bug is still open, so it doesn't make sense to try the newest releases, but it was reported on 5.17, so you could try installing linux-lts, which has 5.15.

sudo pacman -Syu linux-lts linux-lts-headers

But most likely this is not a "regression" problem, but it's due to your Hw, which I think is new, so probably you'll just have to wait for a fix. Try the lts, anyway...
