All common features seems to work just by installing, only problem is brightness control(and is on every distro)
Brigthness control can be resolved by opening application Garuda Rani → Boot Tools
and modifying in kernel parameters: add space after last value and then i915.enable_dpcd_backlight=3.
Save.
Open Terminal and run sudo dracut-rebuild. After that reboot your brigthness works.
Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Glad you managed to fix it own your own.
I hope it didn’t take much time.
Just in case, for future issues that “smell” model-specific, always remember to give a look at the Arch wiki, searching for manufacturer then model.
The hint was there.
Yes I did check it and already knew about the kernel parameter, just didint know garuda doesn’t rebuild initframs after updating grub as in every other distro I tested
