Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360 Support Screen Brigthness

Hi,

I’m just adding this for the next persons.

Laptop: Samsung Galaxy Book2 360

All common features seems to work just by installing, only problem is brightness control(and is on every distro)

Brigthness control can be resolved by opening application Garuda Rani → Boot Tools
and modifying in kernel parameters: add space after last value and then i915.enable_dpcd_backlight=3.

Save.

Open Terminal and run sudo dracut-rebuild. After that reboot your brigthness works.

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Glad you managed to fix it own your own.
I hope it didn’t take much time.
Just in case, for future issues that “smell” model-specific, always remember to give a look at the Arch wiki, searching for manufacturer then model.
The hint was there.

Yes I did check it and already knew about the kernel parameter, just didint know garuda doesn’t rebuild initframs after updating grub as in every other distro I tested :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:
