my Asus tuf A15 is having Realtek wireless adapter but I am unable to get the WiFi driver for the same.
RTL8822 is the name of the wireless driver, there is no open source driver as well no proprietary drivers showing in the driver installation section!?
So if there is a way to get the WiFi driver kindly help!
Please
and post

why so complocated just give “RTL8822” to your add remove sofware maker and you will find what you want i know ^^
I wish it was that easy
But there is no driver to be specific RTL8822CE
Other drivers are not been shown in the hardware configuration driver section
sorry for that
sorry das ich das fragen muss aber hast du auch aur chaotic freigeschaltet also vielleicht kompilieren
sorry i have to ask this but did you also unlock aur chaotic so maybe compile it
sorry i 'm a white germain
sorry i have to ask this but did you also unlock aur chaotic so maybe compile it
i think i get it for you
always search for "rtl88x2ce-dkms" in software add/remove program
hope it helps
Try:
rtw88-dkms-git
It is in the Chaotic AUR.
Test other kernels if not working.
Thank you for that but I already have that driver ,the specific driver I am talking about is missing , my network device is
Realtek RTL882CE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
Vendor: Lite-On
Driver: N/A (as mentioned)
Modules: rtw88_8822ce
Port: d000
bus-ID: 03:00.0
Who are you responding to, myself or @anon4516988.
Oh I am sorry I was responding to the above
Your message just came
Lemme try it your way
Thanks for the help
I hope you don't mind, but I edited your title to include your full wifi adapter model.
RTL8822 has multiple different adapters with different designations. Without your full terminal inxi output we wouldn't have known your proper adapter model. Some people seem to think we request this information too frequently, but without your full specs we are simply playing a guessing game.
Thank you for providing the proper textual terminal output when requested.
Edit:
Also, be sure to disable MAC address randomization, because this laptop may have problems connecting to your network after suspension. Randomization may be easily disabled through the Garuda Network Assistant.
Thank You So much
It worked!
You're very welcome, and I hope you enjoy Garuda.
