Thank you all so much for your help and input
So, I tried several potential fixes to no avail, including most of what was mentioned previously. Here is a list:
- Switch nvme slots
- Changed the wifi card out
- Tried
nvidia-open-dkms
instead ofnvidia-dkms
drivers - Tried
deep
andshallow
sleep modes - Disabling the lock screen after sleep
- Trying to hibernate instead of suspend
@nepti, I have went through those links previously, and I have those services running and parameters set for the nvidia configurations. Also, the journalctl
logs for previous boots weren’t there when I had those nvme errors.
I am going to try and reinstall the nvidia-dkms
drivers with the official linux
kernel as mentioned in a previous thread: Issues with nvidia! Like not waking-up after suspending, or other issues with current version of nvidia's drivers? - #5 by TNE
Thanks again everyone. I might have to succumb to shutting down the computer and not having sleep…
