Resolution Stuck At 800x600

New User Here :slightly_smiling_face:

The Option To Change Resolution Is Capped At 800x600

And I Think Its Not A Driver Problem Because Its Showing Name Of GPU In Neofetch

here are the images

and it would be better if i can unlock 100 hz too

Monitor - MSI PRO MP 251
CPU - i7 4790s
GPU - Nvidia GT 730
RAM - 16GB

Just in case, this means that a reboot is pending after the latest update. Especially considering that

No driver is currently loaded for your GPU.
Try also selecting an x11 session instead of wayland in the login screen.

Still Capped in x11
Tried Both The Option Still Resolution Capped At 800x600
I dont know how to load gpu driver but i tried switching to both x11 and wayland.

Try with Garuda settings manager → HW configuration
There should be a button to autoinstall proprietary drivers. I’m not sure it will work because your GPU is not supported anymore.

Did what you said and it installed but still resolution is capped and i restared after installing drivers too

Try Yes, but I’m afraid we’ll get into a nightmare of conflicts. We’ll need an Nvidia user, which I’ve never been :grinning:

gt 730 sounds kind of dubious.

It seems to me like the display is not being properly detected, have you tried another cable or another port?

2 things stand out, not using Nouveau, and connecting at gen1 speed instead of gen2. Did you install with proprietary drivers and they failed? Make sure the GPU is properly seated in the slot closest to the CPU. Do you have any difference when booting LTS kernel?
