There seems to be much confusion on the forums for when people reply to the last post on the thread and the indicator of the reply is missing. I have recently looked on the meta.discourse.org forums and found a way to change this setting:
This will save people being confused and deleting posts and remaking them, among other things I’ve seen related to this.
