I don’t know if it is possible or reasonable.
It would be nice if the AUR update ran before the other pacman updates. That way I can start update, check and approve AUR then walk away and allow update to finish. This could be an option that is selected in the config file.
While it would be possible technically, it doesn’t make sense. Worst case would be upgrading AUR packages, then updating their libraries present in Arch repos and having broken applications afterwards because versions aren’t matching anymore.
Thanks, that is why I asked. I only have 3 aur packages currently hopefully they will get adopted soon and won’t be a concern.
