I remember that trick from years ago - set the wallpaper to a desktop screenshot with an application window and some fake desktop icons, then watch as people try to close a "non-responsive" window and access "non-responsive" shortcuts... :smiling_imp:

"This window keeps appearing on boot and I can't close it!"

Some schools block you from changing the wallpaper for this reason.
But they forgot rightclick on file --> set as wallpaper I think I got at least 5 computers that day. Then they give each student their own chromebook so it did not work.

When I was in high school I got a copy of this “stress relieving” game that took a screen shot of the desk top and then went full screen, have to use alt tab to get out of it.

once the game started little worms would start to “eat” the desktop and you had a few weapons to choose from like a hammer, flamethrower, various guns, swords and even grenades to kill the worms with.

I installed it on every pc in the graphic arts department and the next day fired up the game on every pc and hid the weapon selector.

Had the teacher thinking there was a virus spreading though the machines and soon it would take over the school.

It was all fun and games until she called the IT department, I had about 5 min to uninstall the game from every pc before they got there.

Was hilarious though, the panic on the teachers face.
