After a recent update, both wallpaper-engine-kde and synching tray from the chaotic aur seem to break.
I was able to track the breakage of these six packages from my update.
ffmpeg4.4 lib32-libvpx libavif libvpx qt5-webengine rav1e
I noticed both wallpaper engine and syncing were complaining about not being able to find older versions of libvpx
, so I tried downgrading it (which led me to downgrade the other five packages)
syncthingtray: error while loading shared libraries: libvpx.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
pacman -Qi libvpx
Name : libvpx
Version : 1.14.0-1
Description : VP8 and VP9 codec
Architecture : x86_64
URL : https://www.webmproject.org/
Licenses : custom:BSD
Groups : None
Provides : libvpx.so=9-64
I reported this both on the wallpaper-engine-kde and sything-tray issue trackers, but
I was told I was better off reporting this to Garuda devs as it is a Garuda/arch issue.
