Yes. Why not?

The only reason I queried it is it's such a huge python update - I haven't seen this before.

Thanks for the info, I'll do the update.

It's probably due to python 3.11.3, with so many packages depending on it.
And I guess something will happen on the AUR as well...

It's a massive python rebuild, which Chaotic-AUR also needs to catch up to yet.

Update done, laptop rebooted, still here.

Unfortunately i have a very broken laptop after the lastest up grade  and it always happens when im working away  and im using kde.
But i do have a tty screen to comfort me

A lousy situation, but great humour

Uh, I just woke up to 394 pending updates... most of them Python stuff.
I guess I'll wait a couple of hours in case there are more to come.

Question: I noticed this during the upgrade, and I'm sure I never tampered with those permissions

warning: directory permissions differ on /usr/share/polkit-1/rules.d/
  filesystem: 750 package: 755

should I chmod the directory to match the expectation?

I noticed that when I upgraded Gnome earlier. I’m not sure whether this was the right action or not, but I simply ignored it and rebooted. Everything still works.

:crossed_fingers:

in mine somehow the fonts are now broken in terminal

Edit. Nevermind, fixed it myself. Apparantly the previously used font was deinstalled or smth

Probably fantasque mono that changed name.
Its new nerd icons look quite messed up though.

Yeah... Youtube in Firefox right now is weirdly enough all in italic.

But nothing else.

Edit: Only in Firefox, not in Firedragon. Don't quite get what's happening. ^^
