Razer Blade 16 (2023) no sound sof-audio

Basically, after a fresh install of Garuda, on a brand new Razer Blade 16, I have no sound. There seems to be a few topics across the internet on this. Most recommend installing sof-firmware sof-tools alsa-ucm-conf, which were already on my system. Others said to go into the alsa mixer and ensure spdif is off, devices are unmuted, volume is up, etc. I did work through each device, and all seems in order.

Thoughts?

Oddly enough, the MIC is working, I see the input indicator moving when speaking.

Try to see if the issue persists after a restart. The symbol at the end there is saying you haven't after the update. (usually pretty important on a fresh installation's first update too)

Still happening after a reboot.

I could be mistaken, but try pavucontrol, because it seems to have a few more configuration options.

Check that all devices are configured correctly.

I did try that one as well. Here are some of the threads I've read on this issue, to give you an idea of what I've tried.

Here are screenshots of pavucontrol.

Also, I grabbed a headset and this is the strangest part, audio works on headphones using the 3.5mm audio jack.

This issue seems just like my own. Sound card detected but no sound / Multimedia and Games / Arch Linux Forums

That's an interesting clue. Try changing the sound card in alsamixer.

Hmm, I have a few options in alsamixer. Here are some screenshots. I've tried each of these with various settings. Right now they are on the defaults, save for the Auto-Mute on sof-hda-dsp. I read that if that is off, then it should send audio out of headphones and speaker at the same time. I was thinking, that maybe it isn't able to switch from headphones to speakers for some reason, but disabling auto-mute had no effect :frowning:
