Question regarding Gnome vs Dragonized editions difference

Hi,

Firstly, the garuda-inxi is missing here as I will have access to that pc later.
But my question here is less about the issue and more about the difference between the two editions.

So, I use Garuda on 3/4 pcs in my house. Never had I any issues with it, that
would completely prevent me from fixing it relatively quickly or prevent me
from installing the OS.

The behaviour in question is consistently repeating. Booting the livemedia it
stops at OK Livemedia keyring… etc.
simply stops there.
I can Ctrl alt Delete to restart normally and it reboots normally.
I tried:

-Ventoy,
-ventoy Normal and Grub2
-Tried both noveau and the proprietary boot.
-Another USB flashed exclusively for garuda.
-Tried both noveau and the proprietary boot again.
-CSM on/ CSM off/
-UEFI and UEFI-legacy
-Three out of three disks
-Loaded BIOS defaults
-CMOS clear.
-iommu on/off
-virutaliziation on/off , dont ask why after a week I was trying everything.
-tried installing windows just to check if it will start, started and installed no issues.
-wiped the disks again tried again.
-Mind you I tried also the USB ports both front and motherboard to make sure.

-Checked the forums solutions none of which are applicable to this specific issue.

The Bahaviour is consistent no matter what i do.

Shows the boot menu, i choose which driver, starts normally and gets stuck and stays there for 30min +

[ok] finished livemedia keyring setup

So, I decided to try another version of Garuda the gnome edition, the one that
I wiped initially.

And, it went through.

At that point i tried a VM to check if im insane, and possibly had a corrupted ventoy, and GAruda installed no issues.

Went to another PC tried again and it booted normally into the LiveUSB environment.

So in this case, I believe its something with that specific pc.

Currently it is running Gnome edition, Flawlessly, which confuses me.
As originally it ran only until i started Steam, or tried to do anything tied to the gpu. it would simply crash the pc.

no logs, no nothing. simply instant crash, no way to troubleshoot.
Tested gpu, its new and runs fine.
Tested Ram, runs fine,
Tested CPU no issues.
checked through windows all fine. no issues.
Hardware is not the culprit.

So, I wiped the entire PC, all disks, everything.
Clean install.

Started giving me this issue.
cant boot the installation for the Dragonized
but installs and runs fine with gnome.

At this point, I wonder, can it be, that it is related to something in the Desktop environments?
More specifically, how different are they under the hood?

I wonder, cause, the First GPU RX 580 and subsequently 2080super was running everything noo problem.
and the new one is a 4070.

CPU: ryzen 2700x

Could you please provide the full name of the not working ISO? Just to confirm it’s not a development iso.
Maybe you could try with this one, appositely built with the LTS kernel, for similar cases:

Magically worked like a charm, just got back downloaded added to the Ventoy folder and tried booting the liveUSB. Worked no issues.

Filo, once more Thank you
