I would like to make a suggestion for a new gaming category in the forum specifically for Linux users. There are already a lot of discussions about problems and technical help, but I think it would be great to create a space where we can talk about the games we actually play on Garuda Linux. Here are some ideas I would like to discuss:
1. Garuda Linux Gaming Exchange
In this category, Linux users could share their experiences with different games they have played on their operating system. Everyone can recommend their favorite games, give tips, or just tell about their experiences. This would be a great way to strengthen the community and discover new games!
2. Garuda Games screenshots and experiences
In addition to the discussions about the games, a subcategory for screenshots would be very helpful. Players could share their best in-game moments and inspire others to try out these games. There’s nothing like visuals to spark interest in a game!
3. games that run on Steam
To make the search easier, we could create a subcategory specifically for games that run on Linux via Steam. Many gamers use Steam to manage their games, and through this section we could specifically discuss which titles work well and which don’t.
Because Garuda Linux have a Gaming Edition or RANI Gaming Apps Section?
I am convinced that such a category would not only be useful for Garuda Linux gamers, but could also help to make the forum more lively and stimulate more discussion. What do you think of this idea? I look forward to your feedback.
I believe the proposal is for topics which are not related to Issues & Assistance. More of a place for the community to discuss games they are playing, share tips and tricks, et cetera.

Whether you prefer fighting against opponents in intense battles or mastering exciting missions - you’ve come to the right place! Let’s explore the exciting world of action games together!
I think a dedicated sub-forum for gamers to discuss their favorite games would be fine. However, a section specifically dedicated to screenshots of gameplay is another matter entirely. Posting many hi-res gaming screenshots could potentially suck up a ton server storage space. We generally try to discourage our users from posting unnecessary images in an effort to keep Garuda’s server expenses to a minimum.
For this reason, I don’t think a gaming screenshots area is likely in the cards.
It is fine to share screenshots. They take up very little storage space because the forum software very aggressively compresses and reduces them during the upload process. Save a few images from the Screenshots | Garuda Linux preferred :master: thread and you will see what I mean; they are often only 50 KB or less!
