Problem with bauh

Hi, I have problem with the latest bauh. It only shows what I have installed, but thats program that I don’t have. When I tried to refresh all disappear and the window is empty. I tried the bauh-staging but have the same problem. Are there any fixies for this or should I remove Bauh?

Provided that I do not use it, so cannot check, the first thing that comes to my mind is that it seems to have a lot of dependencies that have been recently updated.
If you installed the package from AUR or are insterest in reinstalling / rebuilding it from there, that could be an option.
Open a terminal, enter:

paru bauh

Exit from PKGBUILD preview with butto q and confirm installation.
If it works, we should ask for a rebuild in the Chaotic-AUR as well.

Have you tried running Bauh through the command line and seeing what errors appear?

I wonder if running makepkg -si on the PKGBUILD would help?

Example: yay -S jamesdsp (any of them) fails to build. Same if using Paru. But ‘makepkg -si’ – the right way in Arch–works as it’s supposed to.

*That’s in Arch. Chaotic-AUR may have prebuilt jamesdsp in Garuda.

Anyway, just a suggestion, @kalleanka. Download the current bauh snapshot, extract the PKGBUILD, then run ‘makepkg -si’ in a terminal, in the PKGBUILD’s directory/folder.

Just in case you’re not already aware of the process.

EDIT: @kalleanka , please note; I’ve just built & installed bauh-staging without errors, using makepkg -si. If you have any problems doing so using that method, please MSG me.

Ok at last I get it to work, I did a reinstall of garuda, and that solved the problem I had
