Problem installing Printer Driver using Canon Printer driver package

Install Canon Printer Driver issue

I’ve been trying to install driver package for linux by downloading from an offical website.I’m trying to install sh.But I got this message An error occured. The package management cannot be identified.Does anyone know how to fixed it? :smiling_face_with_tear:.

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)
  • Format terminal output (including your garuda-inxi) as a code block by clicking the preformatted text button (</>) , or put three tildes (~) above and below the text

Without garuda-inxi this request will be moved to 4xx Client Error > 412 Precondition Failed

Please, no pictures from terminal.
Images can be read worse, are not searchable and copyable for further search.

Use pacman, pacseek or paru, not software from websites, to install software.

Check the AUR to see if it contains printer drivers for your specific model. If there is no driver in the AUR for your exact model, sometimes a driver for a similar model number could possibly work.

With so few details in your opening post it’s unlikely that anyone can give you further advice.
