Ppp 2.5.0-1 breaks dependency ppp=2.4.9

I was performing an update

  • mistakenly passed an keyboard Interrept during post transaction hooks (dpmod restoring the linux-zen)
  • I then intentially haulted the whole process to restart the udpate
  • I tried garuda-update , and it thrown me the following error
╭─starboy@starboy in ~ via  took 6ms

  • I rebooted the system, was unable to boot to linux-zen
  • booted to the system using linux-lts
  • tried garuda-update again
  • again throwed the same error
  • checked apps , apps are updated properly
please help me fix my linux-zen

Thanks in Advance!

See if this works,

sudo pacman -Rdd networkmanager-fortisslvpn
garuda-update
sudo pacman -Rns $(pacman -Qtdq)

It seems networkmanager-fortisslvpn has been removed from extra repo in arch and it’s AUR versions have been marked orphaned.

Also, in case you still can’t boot using zen kernel try,

sudo dkms autoinstall

and,

sudo dracut-rebuild

I couldn’t boot into the linux-zen after these executing these commands
then I tried reinstalling the linux-zen and linux-zen-headers and it worked out for me
Thanks a lot for your kind assistance and helping me out in restoring my system’s primary kernal. Thanks a Lot! @NaN
