Power managment doesn't work correctly?

Hello,
I can't deal with the energy-saving measures.
I have made the settings so that when I close the notebook, the system goes into hibernation mode.
However, I don't know what the difference is between the
hibernation and standby.
At the moment, the system does not switch off and the screen remains active (with screen saver) and the battery is drained.
When I flip the screen back up, the message also appears:
"Power management
GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.login1.StepVerbNotSupported:
Not enough swap space for hibernation."

Not enough swap space for hibernation.
